The first step to achieving a natural-looking tan starts with exfoliation to remove any dead skin cells. This ensures a smooth canvas for an even application without any dry flakes or oily patches. 24 hours before applying Bondi Sands Gradual Tanning Milk for the first time exfoliate using the Bondi Sands Dual Action Exfoliating Mitt, or a Bondi Sands Body Scrub for a deeper exfoliation. Make sure not to miss key areas such as elbows, knees and ankles as these can be prone to dry skin.Hair Removal

Now that you're prepped it's time to apply your Bondi Sands Gradual Tanning Milk! But, before getting started make sure you're in a well-lit area to ensure that you don't miss any areas. Using the Bondi Sands Application Mitt start by applying a 50-pence piece-sized amount of product to your thighs in oval-shaped movements from the hip to knee ensuring you cover all areas in a steady sweeping movement. Applying a smaller amount of product you then need to use the same oval movement from your knee to ankle and onto the tops of the feet. Your mitt should still be pretty saturated in enough product to cover your stomach and chest using circular motions. When it comes to your neck and decolletage sweep in upwards motions towards your face. Using another 50-pence piece-sized amount of product work this into your arms with a swipe from shoulder to wrist working in sections around the arms. 
If you don't have someone to help with the hard-to-reach areas of your back, then using the Bondi Sands Back Applicator will ensure no areas are left untouched. Use the applicator to rub from the centre of your back, up across the shoulders, and back down. Bringing your arm round the side and with a windscreen wiper motion go from left to right all the way across one side. Switch hands to do the other side. Finally, it's time to apply the Bondi Sands Gradual Tanning Milk to your hands. Using only leftover product on the mitt, glide the mitt over the top of the hand with light sweeping movements. Draw the mitt from nail to wrist twice per finger and repeat on the other hand. To achieve a deeper tan, reapply the tanning milk as desired. This product is easy to build up, so you can control the intensity of your tan by reapplying as needed.
