Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser
This was the product that kicked it all off for me and helped to not only calm my skin, but also clear it. The cleanser is non-comedogenic, hypoallergenic, and non-alkaline formula that is also fragrance free. The consistency is that of a lightweight lotion, so is ideal to use as a second cleanse in a night-time routine, or as a sole cleanser for mornings. It leaves skin feeling clean, but without that 'tight stripped' feeling you can often be left with, which is thanks to the fatty acids in there. Within a week of adding this to my routine my skin was less red and irritated, and within a month it was much clearer too. It's now a staple on my skincare shelf, especially when having a breakout. Cetaphil Healthy Radiance Night Cream with Niacinamide
The latest range from Cetaphil is Healthy Radiance, which contains sea daffodil which boosts cell renewal and has anti-inflammatory benefits, as well as antioxidants and niacinamide which is known for its ability to reduce pigmentation, redness and signs of ageing. As with the Gentle Skin Cleanser, this is both fragrance-free and non-comedogenic. The formula is a gel/cream hybrid, so although it's a night cream it also works well as a day cream under makeup as the subtle gel-like consistency adds a slight priming effect. Cetaphil Healthy Radiance Refresh Facial Toner with Niacinamide
As with the night cream the facial toner is enriched with sea daffodil and niacinamide and is fragrance-free, hypoallergenic, and non-comedogenic. This is a lightweight toner that helps to remove any residue that might be leftover on the skin, and to prep the skin for the rest of your regimen like serums and essences.
