Centred on the smell of Saffron, an exalted spice in India where the Hindu monks and sages wear Saffron clothes as a symbol of abstinence from all material things, thoughts and pleasures, it is revered by Byredo's founder.

Opening with a spicy fruity melange of Juniper Berries, Pomelo and spicy Saffron, the heart blends the floral notes of Black Violet and Cristal Rose with the smoked leather nuances of Accord Cuir with its Saffron content. The scent culminates in an earthy, woody drydown with Vetiver and Blonde Woods enlivened by the inclusion of zesty Raspberry. The fragrant liquid is housed in the brand's instantly recognisable, chic and simple monochrome bottle.
